Shawnee Golf Course sits in Shawnee Park along the Ohio River in west Louisville. Opened in 1926, the Louisville Parks and Recreation course plays as an 18-hole, par 70 with bent grass greens and Bermuda tees and fairways.

Shawnee's history runs deep: it hosted the U.S. Public Links Championship in 1932. Today it also offers a three-hole junior course, making it one of the city's most welcoming places to learn the game.
