01 Who we are and what LockedTee does

LockedTee ("LockedTee", "we", "us", or "our") is a personal booking assistant for golfers. When you ask us to, we book a tee time on your own account at the course you choose, using the booking details and login you provide, at the exact moment that course's booking window opens. We book the time you would book anyway. You just do not have to set the alarm.

We are not a tee-time reseller, a broker, or a marketplace. We do not buy, hold, resell, or trade tee times, and we never book a slot to flip it to someone else. We act only as your assistant, on your instruction, for your own round of golf.

By creating an account, submitting a booking request, or using any part of the LockedTee service (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

02 Your account and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for everything that happens under your LockedTee account.

  • One account, one golfer. A LockedTee membership is for a single golfer booking their own rounds. It is not a shared, commercial, or group-booking tool, and it may not be used to book on behalf of paying customers or the general public.
  • You agree to keep your LockedTee login secure and to tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
  • You agree to give us accurate booking details (your course, the exact booking URL you use, your booking-window rule, your group size, and your preferred day and time window) and to keep them current so we can act correctly on your behalf.

03 Your authorization and representations

When you provide a course login and ask us to book, you are giving LockedTee your explicit, revocable authorization to sign in to that booking account as you and to complete a booking on your behalf, limited to what you have asked us to do.

You represent and warrant that:

  • The booking account is yours, or you are otherwise fully authorized to book on it, and providing the login to us does not break any agreement you have with the course or the booking platform that you are responsible for reviewing.
  • You are requesting a tee time for your own genuine, personal play, not to resell, broker, scalp, or transfer to others for profit.
  • The information you give us is true, and you will keep it accurate.

You can withdraw this authorization at any time by pausing or canceling your standing requests in your account or by contacting us. When you do, we stop acting on the withdrawn request.

04 Acceptable use

To keep LockedTee legitimate and welcome at your course, you agree that you will not:

  • Resell or broker. You will not use the Service to book tee times you intend to resell, broker, auction, or transfer to others for money or other value.
  • Mass-book or hoard. You will not use the Service to grab more tee times than you personally intend to play, or to book across many accounts to corner a tee sheet.
  • Break your course's rules. You will respect your course's own terms of service, membership rules, and booking limits, including any rule that restricts or forbids automated booking. You are responsible for knowing those rules. If your course prohibits automation, you should not ask us to book there, and we may decline to serve courses that ban it or that require identity or in-person verification we cannot honor.
  • Misrepresent. You will not give us a login that is not yours to use, or ask us to book for anyone other than yourself under your single-golfer membership.
  • Interfere. You will not use the Service to attack, overload, or disrupt any course or platform, or to do anything unlawful.

We built LockedTee to sit clearly on the right side of the line: a member booking their own round. If you use it otherwise, you are breaking these Terms, and we may suspend or close your account.

05 Your booking-site credentials

To book for you, we need the login (and, where you provide it, the two-factor detail) for your course's booking account. We treat these as sensitive. We encrypt your credentials at rest, decrypt them only in memory at booking time to sign in as you, and log every access. We describe this in full in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for making sure you are allowed to share these credentials with a booking assistant under any agreement you have with the course or platform. You can ask us to delete your stored credentials at any time, after which we can no longer book for you until you provide them again.

06 Membership and per-booking billing

LockedTee is sold as a monthly membership plus, on some plans, a small per-booking fee that we charge only when we successfully lock a tee time for you. If we do not land a booking, you are not charged a per-booking fee for that attempt. Your plan, its monthly price, and its per-booking fee are shown at signup and in your account.

  • Your membership renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for the membership and any per-booking fees you incur.
  • Per-booking fees are metered and billed together with your membership on the same invoice. Applicable taxes may be added.
  • Green fees are not ours. LockedTee's fees are for the booking service only. You pay the course directly for the round, cart, and any other course charges under the course's own terms. We do not collect or handle green fees.

07 Cancellation, refunds, and skipping

  • Cancel anytime. You can cancel your membership at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals and future booking attempts. It takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • Skip or cancel a booking. If you are not going to play, you can skip an upcoming standing request or cancel a booked round with one tap from the message we send you. Please cancel at the course early enough to respect the course's cancellation policy, which is yours to follow.
  • Refunds. Membership fees are generally non-refundable for the current billing period, except where required by law. If we charged a per-booking fee for a booking we did not actually secure, contact us and we will make it right.

Please read carefully

08 Liability waiver and disclaimer

This section limits our responsibility and asks you to accept certain risks. By using LockedTee you agree to it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is provided "as is"

LockedTee is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or able to book at any given course or moment.

We do not guarantee any specific tee time

Tee times are limited, competitive, and controlled entirely by your course and its booking platform. We do not and cannot guarantee that we will secure any particular tee time, day, or slot, or any tee time at all. Sites go down, rules change without notice, windows shift, slots sell out in seconds, and platforms may block automated access. You accept that a booking may not happen.

You are solely responsible for course compliance and consequences

You are solely responsible for complying with your course's and booking platform's terms of service, rules, and booking limits, and for any and all consequences of using an assistant to book, including suspension, restriction, or closure of your booking account by the course or platform, forfeited deposits, no-show or cancellation penalties, and any dispute with the course. LockedTee is not responsible for those consequences.

You assume all risk

You knowingly and voluntarily assume all risk arising from your use of the Service, including the risks described above. You agree that you are choosing to use a booking assistant with full knowledge that it may fail to book or may lead to action by your course.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LockedTee and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost rounds, lost opportunities, or lost profits, arising from or related to the Service. Our total liability to you for any and all claims is limited to the amount of fees you actually paid to LockedTee in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. In that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

09 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LockedTee and its owners, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your booking details or credentials, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any course or platform rule or any law. This means that if your use of LockedTee causes a claim against us, you are responsible for it.

10 Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we believe your use is harmful, unlawful, or crosses into reselling or brokering, or if a course or platform requires it. If we close your account for a reason other than your breach, we will refund any unused, prepaid membership for the current period. On termination, we stop booking for you and, on request, delete your stored credentials as described in the Privacy Policy.

11 Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service and the law evolve. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, tell you by email or in your account. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12 Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you and LockedTee agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located there for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved. Your counsel should confirm the venue and dispute-resolution terms that fit your situation.
